A Christmas Carol

Why see A Christmas Carol?

God bless Us, Every One!

First published over 180 years ago, Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol has become the quintessential festival tale, with hundreds of productions launched nationwide every December. Joining them is this brand-new staging from the Stadium, complete with lavish sets, stunning special effects and wonderful costumes, all the better to transport you and your loved ones to the streets of Victorian London, where one man's Christmas Eve is about to become an unforgettable yuletide adventure...

What is the story?

Originally appearing in 1843, A Christmas Carol follows the mean-spirited money-lender Ebenezer Scrooge, a man so concerned with penny-pinching he doesn't even let his employees have the day off for Christmas. But things are about to change for this miserly fellow as his own Christmas Eve is turned into a supernatural journey through his past, present and future. Will Scrooge learn his lesson and discover the true meaning of the season? You'll have to watch to find out!
